RF power fading mitigation for an IMDD multicarrier LR-PON

Abstract: In an intensity-modulation direct-detection (IMDD) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal format, radio frequency (RF) power fading produces non-uniform receiving performance among the subcarriers due to chromatic dispersion.
