Diabeteses dyslipidaemia és atherosclerosis

Abstract: A diabetes mellitus gyakorisága és ezzel együtt népegészségügyi jelentősége is folyamatosan nő. Az utóbbi években tapasztalt javulások ellenére a cardiovascularis betegségek a cukorbetegek morbiditásának és mortalitásának vezető okai. A cukorbetegség fennállása önmagában olyan cardiovascularis veszélyeztetettséget jelent, mintha ismert érbe-tegsége lenne a betegnek. A diabeteses dyslipidaemia jellemzői a magas éhgyomri és postprandialis triglicerid-, alacsony HDL-koleszterin-szint, valamint a kissé emelkedett … Show more

“…In another side, mild-moderate hypertriglyceridemia (TG levels between 200 and 800 mg/dL) are associated with low levels of HDL-C, small and dense LDL (sd-LDL) particles, atherogenic TG-rich remnants [ 78 ]. And, sd-LDL is generated during the delipidation process by hepatic lipase (HL) from VLDL1 (TG-rich lipoprotein) to IDL and LDL particles and a number of clinical studies strongly suggest that a predominance of sd-LDL is associated with CVD risk, in hypertriglyceridemia [ 79 ] [ 80 ].…”

“…As one of the major conditions associated with DM, diabetic dyslipidemia, has been reported to be closely and causally related to the genesis and the progression of AGING atherosclerosis [3][4][5]. Diabetic dyslipidemia is quite common among patients with T2DM, with a prevalence ranging from 75-82%, while only 10% of DM patients with type 1 diabetes tend to show dyslipidemia [6].…”
