Desmopressin after cardiac surgery in bleeding patients. A multicenter randomized trial

Abstract: This multicenter randomized trial demonstrated that, in patients pre-treated with tranexamic acid, desmopressin should not be expected to improve treatment of patients who experience bleeding after cardiac surgery.
