“…Other work highlights the potential benefit of a combined peer-video approach, reporting that promotora-delivered video and written materials are effective in changing pesticide-related behaviors, with promotora attributes contributing to intervention success (26,27). [34][35][36] Workers may also be less likely to decline overtime, not be provided training for unfamiliar equipment, or feel empowered to decline a hazardous task or report an unsafe work environment. 20,37 Immigrant workers, especially those in temporary or entry-level positions, have been shown to experience additional pressure to meet deadlines driven by fear of termination, and are more vulnerable to employer abuse that contributes to occupational health inequities.…”

“…Dle Marfleet a Blustein [14] přináší zaměstnávání především nelegálních imigrantů na terciárním trhu práce riziko zneužívání imigrantů ze strany zaměstnavatele. Dle Fuentes et al [15] získávají imigranti pracovní pozice nekvalifikovaných dělníků, mají často nelegální status, nízké vzdělání a nízký příjem. Dle Mousaid et al [16] získávají muži i ženy přicházející do Evropské unie z periferních zemí evropského společenství zaměstnání s nízkou kvalitou a vysokými bezpečnostními riziky.…”
