Abstract:α°-thalassemia is a well-known cause of hydrops fetalis in South-East Asia and can be detected in utero. We report a very rare case of thyrotoxic cardiomyopathy associated with hyperplacentosis secondary to α°-thalassemia-associated hydrops fetalis.
