“…Estudos realizados de forma independente em vários países têm buscado investigar as emissões de NH3 e GEE na atividade animal para melhor compreensão da dinâmica e excesso desses gases na atmosfera (GROOT KOERKAMP et al, 1998;WHEELER et al, 2006;BURNS et al, 2007;SUTTON et al, 2008;CALVET et al, 2011;MILES et al, 2011;HOU et al, 2015), principalmente a amônia, uma vez que provoca efeitos adversos ao meio ambiente (KRUPA, 2003), como acidificação de solos (Van BREEMEN et al, 1982) e eutrofização das águas de lagos e rios (PHOENIX et al, 2006), além de sua volatilização, que está relacionada a futuras deposições de N na superfície do solo e, por nitrificação, formar o N2O (emissão indireta). No entanto, dadas a expansão e variabilidade da área territorial brasileira (HOUGHTON et al, 1990;CASTANHEIRA;FREIRE, 2013) e as incertezas e variabilidade associadas às medições, o número de estudos dedicados à avaliação dos impactos e determinação dos potenciais de mitigação desses gases pelo manejo dos dejetos de frangos de corte ainda são escassos na literatura (CALVET et al, 2013;OGINK et al, 2013;TAKAI et al, 2013;MENDES et al, 2014).…”
