Effective Induction Therapy with Subcutaneous Administration of Bortezomib for Newly Diagnosed POEMS Syndrome: A Case Report and a Review of the Literature

Abstract: POEMS syndrome is characterized by polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy and skin changes. Bortezomib is an important component of the chemotherapy regimen associated with multiple myeloma, and has been previously applied to POEMS syndrome.
