2023 Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) Update

Abstract: Select topics with the most frequent number of publications during the time period covered in the designated journals were identified. For 2023, these topics were Achilles tendon ruptures (ATRs), osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLTs), total ankle arthroplasty (TAA), ankle fractures, progressive collapsing foot deformity (PCFD), and minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for hallux valgus deformity. What follows are summaries of the highest level of evidence (LOE) available in 2023 for each topic.
