“…NdBa2Cu3O7−δ (NBCO) thin films (2000 Å) grown by excimer KrF laser, irradiated with Au+13 (200 MeV) ions, show an almost four-fold increase in J C at the optimum ion dose, indicating a robust pinning of vortices [3]. An enhancement of J C (H) in La-2125 thin films has been reported [4] with increasing Ag+15 ion irradiation upto an ion fluence of 1 × 10 11 ions per cm 2 . Interestingly, the maximum enhancement in J C is observed to be five-fold higher (1.6 × 10 7 A.cm-2) compared to J C of pristine thin films.…”
