Abstract:Ectrodactyly is a rare anomaly seen in the appendicular skeleton and characterized by a cleft or split between bone and soft tissue in the distal regions of the extremities. Ectrodactyly may be associated with the absence and hypoplasia of several carpal-metacarpal bones, phalanx duplication, or metacarpal synostosis.
