Abstract

Eight 2-alkyl-3-phenykinchoninic acids were prepared by the interaction of isatin and alkyl benzyl ketones. These acids were cydized to the 6-alkyl-11 -indeno[l ,2c |quinolin-l 1-ones and the oxime derivatives prepared.
