Abstract

The title compound, CIsHe202, consists of an eightmembered carbocyclic ring fused between a sixmembered aromatic and a six-membered alicyclic ring. The cyclohexane skeleton has a chair conformation, the cyclooctene ring a puckered pseudo-chair conformation and the lactone ring an envelope conformation.
