“…We can notice from Figure b that a new Co 2p peak at 783.7 eV appears in the 70%-CdS/CoP-CN composite, which could be ascribed to the Co–S species derived from the chemical bonding of CdS and CoP-CN. Moreover, the S 2p spectrum of 70%-CdS/CoP-CN exhibits one set of additional doublet signals at 162.5–163.3 eV besides the doublet peaks of 161.0–162.2 eV belonging to S 2– ions (Figure c), consistent with that of S 2 2– species present in CoS, implying that Co–S bonds are generated after the integration of CdS and CoP-CN. In addition, the P 2p, C 1s, and N 1s spectra (Figure d–f) of 70%-CdS/CoP-CN confirm that the chemical valence states of the P, C, and N elements are preserved after the hybridization reaction.…”

“…Interestingly, compared with N–TiO 2 , the absorption range of the S v -ZIS/N–TiO 2 heterojunction has slightly changed, which may be due to the quantum confinement of S v -ZIS nanosheets. 38 This may indicate that the visible light response of the prepared photocatalysts is mainly derived from N–TiO 2 rather than from the usual ZIS.…”

“…2b, the characteristic peaks of zinc, indium, and sulfur elements are easily observed in the pure ZIS sample. 34 Meanwhile, the Pd-PMOFs possessed the main characteristic peaks of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and palladium. Significantly, the Pd-PMOFs@ZIS photocatalysts displayed all the characteristic peaks of pure ZIS and Pd-PMOFs, covering C 1s, O 1s, N 1s, Pd 3d, S 2p, In 3d and Zn 2p.…”
