Abstract: Y 2 O 3 coatings were fabricated on using atmospheric plasma spraying (APS). The effects of different process parameters on the microstructure and properties of the coating were analyzed. The results show that the overall morphology of Y 2 O 3 coatings are smooth at high spraying power, low spraying distance and low primary gas flow rate, which is consistent with the change trend of porosity and hardness.
