Abstract:INTRODUCTION:
Mallory-Weiss syndrome (MWS) is characterized as longitudinal mucosal tears of the esophagus, most often located in the gastro-esophageal junction that may extendproximally into the distal and even mid- esophagus or distally into the stomach.
