Abstract: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is associated with insulin resistance and altered hepatic energy metabolism, with imbalanced glucose and lipid metabolism. Nicotinamide riboside (NR) has recently emerged as a potential therapeutic for a broad range of metabolic abnormalities.
