“…The peaks at [126, and 313] cm -1 are the characteristic of Bi-O stretches [33,40]. Now, the peak at 602 cm -1 could be related to the O-Bi-O bond, because as was mentioned by Ermakova [41], in the d-Bi 2 O 3 phase (fluorite type structure), there is a vibration around the 620 cm -1 related to the active photon T 2g , which is caused by the symmetrical oscillation between O-M-O (oxygenmetal-oxygen) and the width of the peak referred to the intrinsic disorder of the structure. The peaks that were detected at frequencies above 1000 cm -1 , which were found in the frequencies [1066, 1349, and 1558] cm -1 , are related to the precursor agents (tannic acid), since in particular the peaks [1558 and 1349] cm -1 are related to vibrations of compounds containing carbon.…”

“…The presence of this Raman active mode can be expected for δ-Bi 2 O 3 due to its defective fluorite structure. At present, the reported Raman spectra for the δ-Bi 2 O 3 phase are characterized by an asymmetric band, with a Raman shift that varies in the interval from 580 to 650 cm −1 depending on the preparation conditions [31]. For example, Bandyopadhyay et al reported that the asymmetric band consisted of two peaks located at 540 and 620 cm −1 .…”
