Abstract: Introduction: A living cell-based treatment (LCT; Apligraf®) consisting of human neonatal allogeneic keratinocytes and fibroblasts embedded in an extracellular matrix has been shown through multiple randomized controlled multicenter trials to improve the rate of healing of venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
