“… 16–19 During the acute phase of TS, the clinical presentation is often described as indistinguishable from that of an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). 10 Chest pain followed by dyspnoea, 10 11 16–19 lipothymy with or without syncope 10 16 18 19 and malaise 16 is the most common clinical presentation for TS. Chest pain was more common in patients with a myocardial infarction than in those with TS, while dyspnoea, 10 16 syncope and malaise were more common in patients with TS.…”

“…Recently there has been some suspicion that TTS may have poorer outcome than has been assumed. 10 TTS may be associated with some critical complications such as heart failure, life-threatening arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, QT-prolongation, thromboembolic events, the recurrence of TTS, left ventricular outflow obstruction, mitral valve regurgitation, and cardiac rupture. 11 It has also been reported that TTS is associated with cardiac fibrosis and inflammation.…”

“…Istnieje udokumentowany przypadek pacjentki, u której choroba wystąpiła 4-krotnie [7]. W więk-szości przypadków rokowanie jest korzystne, u niektórych chorych jednak dochodzi do groźnych powikłań, które mogą być nawet przyczyną zgonu [8][9][10][11][12][13][14].…”
