“…Comparing 15 sinonasal questionnaires, SNOT‐22 was considered the most suitable patient‐reported outcome measure for evaluating patients with chronic rhinosinusitis, including patients submitted to functional sinus surgery, because of its reliability, validity, responsiveness and easy application, leading the European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis and Nasal Polyps (EPOS) 2012 to recommend the use of SNOT‐22 in chronic rhinosinusitis, both in research or in clinical practice. The Brazilian validated version of SNOT‐22 retains the positive features of the original version, including greater responsiveness after treatment, and has been used in Brazilian research involving chronic rhinosinusitis in the last few years.…”
