Influência da temperatura de secagem no comportamento higroscópico da madeira de <i>Pinus elliottii</i> Engelm.

Abstract: O trabalho investiga o comportamento higroscópico da madeira de Pinus elliottii Engelm. após a secagem em diferentes temperaturas (50ºC; 75ºC; 100ºC; 125ºC e 150ºC). Após a secagem, as amostras fora submetidas a diferentes condições ambientais criadas artificialmente. Pela observação da umidade de equilíbrio que se estabeleceu em cada condição ambiental ficou demonstrado que quanto maior a temperatura de secagem, menor a higroscopicidade do material estudado.
