Abstract:In Brazil, Chagas cardiomyopathy is the third most common cause of indication for heart transplantation (HTx). Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a severe condition frequently present in patients with terminal heart failure that worsens the prognosis of patients undergoing HTx.
