Crossroads between Brazil and The United States: Eshu, Ogun and Oshunmare in Toni Morrison’s A Mercy and Conceição Evaristo’s Ponciá Vicêncio

Abstract: This research of a bibliographical qualitative nature, aims at exposing the findings of the scientific investigation which comparatively studied A Mercy (2008), written by the North-American scholar, Toni Morrison and Ponciá Vicencio (2017) written by the Brazilian contemporary writer Conceição Evaristo, in order to list elements related to the presence of Orishas in the narratives.
