Clostridioides difficile infection leading to fulminant colitis with toxic megacolon

Abstract: Clostridioidesdifficile infection (CDI) is the culprit of millions of nosocomial infections in the United States. Programs that successfully decrease its incidence, therefore, render cost savings for the healthcare system.
