Understanding large amounts of online research works is extremely complex and time-consuming nowadays. The European and scientific commissions have recently highlighted the importance of implementing a research data management system in higher education institutes which combines technical as well as organizational solutions. In this paper, a semi-automated crowdsourcing approach is proposed to engage humans in the summarization task of scientific data. Semantic wiki technology is used to enable self-organization of crowdworkers and collaboration between them. In order to deal with these problems, the analysis and summarization of research findings is a task that can be outsourced to a crowd of researchers. A scientific data ontology and a crowdsourcing approach are proposed. They represent the main aspects of a collaborating research community that exploits data crowdsourcing to derive state of the art and/or survey reports. It is designed to fit the requirements for a quality report reflecting a timely tracking of research progress in a given domain

Abstract-Modeling efficient knowledge bases for improving the semantic property of the World Wide Web is mandatory for promoting innovations and developments in World Wide Web. There is a need for efficient and organized modeling of the knowledge bases. In this paper, a strategy Onto Collab is proposed for construction of knowledge bases using ontology modeling. Ontologies are visualized as the basic building blocks of the knowledge in the web. The cognitive bridge between the human conceptual understanding of real world data and the processable data by computing systems is represented by Ontologies. A domain is visualized as a collection of similar ontologies. A review based strategy is proposed over a secure messaging system to author ontologies and a platform for retracing the domain ontologies as individuals and as a team is proposed. Evaluations for ontologies constructed pertaining to a domain for non-wiki knowledge bases is carried out.

Abstract:Web 2.0 technologies or as they are also called social technologies have become very popular lately. Social networks like Facebook and LinkedIn have millions of daily users. Wikipedia is the most popular encyclopedia. Blogs of all kinds have become very influential in our everyday lives almost like print media. Although Web 2.0 technologies popularity is great, existing knowledge management system frameworks are usually based on other technologies and principles. Even when they are based on Web 2.0, predominant presumption is that these technologies are completely new. This is normal since substantial portion of those frameworks were developed when these technologies were new. Today situation has changed and average knowledge worker should be familiar with most of these technologies. In this paper we try to quantify popularity that most popular of Web 2.0 systems have, compare their popularity with other business information systems and classify them into three groups by popularity and usefulness.
