A simple and cost-effective diagnostic of Macrophomina phaseolina on watermelon by direct PCR

Abstract: Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid is the causal agent of charcoal rot and vine decline in cucurbits such as watermelon. Molecular methods have been used for rapid identification.
