Abstract:Univentricular heart, also known as functionally single ventricle, is a complex group of heterogenous congenital heart defects, comprising multiple pathological subtypes. This may occur either with ventricular hypoplasia, double-inlet atrioventricular connections, or mitral or tricuspid valve atresia.
