18F-FDG PET/CT Reveals Localized Inflammation in Lupus Enteritis

There are many reports on the usefulness of FDG PET and PET/CT for evaluating lesions in the central nervous system, 3–18 coronary arteries, 19,20 myocarditis, 21–26 pericarditis, 27 lymph nodes or spleen, 28–37 mesenteric panniculitis, 38 cutaneous panniculitis, 39 pulmonary arterial hypertension, 40 nephritis, 4 bilateral mass-forming extramedullary hematopoiesis, 41 pulmonary amyloidoma, 42 organized pneumonia, 43 and aortitis 44 in patients with SLE, and several reviews were reported 45–47 .
