Abstract:Bezerra et al. analyzed the relationship between microcephaly and social inequality indicators in the state of Paraíba between January 2015 and December 2016. New cases of microcephaly were reported in 74 municipalities. Zika Virus, water supply, and family income were associated variables and must be monitored by health professionals and authorities.
