“…In a study examining pumpkin seed oil for sunflower oil adulteration, NIR combined with orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) completely distinguished pure pumpkin seed oil from the adulterated version, with an accurate discrimination rate of 100% ( Balbino et al, 2022 ).
