AVALIAÇÃO DE COMPOSTOS BIOATIVOS E ATIVIDADE ANTIOXIDANTE DE EXTRATOS DE FOLHAS DE AMOREIRA PRETA (Morus nigra L.) UTILIZANDO PLANEJAMENTO EXPERIMENTAL

Abstract: EVALUATION OF BIOATIVE COMPOUNDS AND ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF EXTRACTS OF BLACK MULBERRY LEAVES (Morus nigra L.) USING EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN. Extracts of black mulberry leaves present phytochemicals such as phenolic compounds and minerals. These substances have been studied because they show several health benefits. In this work we report the influence of drying temperature, infusion temperature and extraction time by means of factorial design monitoring the total phenolic content (CFT) of aqueous extracts of lea… Show more

“…The most notable advantages of the soxhlet method are the non-permanent contact of the sample with the solvent, constant renewal, avoiding solvent saturation, and the system temperature remains relatively high, as the heat applied to the evaporation process is continuous. These advantages contribute to higher antioxidant rates extracted in the soxhlet method than the infusion method, which is static and not isothermal 35 39 .…”

“…The extraction of these compounds is essential for studies that prove their composition and antioxidant capacity. Therefore, isolation, quantification, identification of phytochemicals in plant sources of these compounds and evaluation of benefits that these present to health demonstrate the purpose of its use (Schafranski et al, 2019).…”
