“…Most observational studies and clinical trials have used CRP as a biochemical marker of systemic inflammation that is produced following stimulation by various cytokines that can be drivers of an acute response to infection, ischemia, trauma, and other inflammatory conditions such as physical inactivity [44][45][46].
