Abstract:This paper describes the construction of the BR-EMS 2015 mortality tables for the Brazilian insured population. The tables were based on data collected from insurance companies which represent about 80 per cent of the Brazilian insurance market, and they are updates of their previous versions, BR-EMS 2010, which have been the first mortality tables built with Brazilian market experience.
