This article aims to recognize and dialogue with the production of knowledge, practices and, in particular, with undergraduate teaching in occupational therapy in territorial and community contexts, through the systematic mapping of articles, dissertations and theses published between 2012 and 2022. Bibliographic search was carried out in November 2022, through the SciELO virtual library, the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) and the databases: Web of Science, Scopus and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). 40 productions were eligible, of those, 29 articles and 11 dissertations/theses. The results were analyzed based on thematic analysis, whose topics were: What is territorial and community teaching? Where does it occur? What pedagogical strategies? Who teaches? What challenges do you face? What are the guiding concepts? The results point to interdisciplinary, interprofessional, collaborative teaching with important attributes such as the teaching-learning-assistance process in the territory and in territorial services, including actors such as students, professionals, teams and the community, in addition to the teacher who proposes, articulates and mediates of this teaching. We conclude that the mapping presents a general overview of this teaching, highlighting encounters between theories and practices, from different sub-areas of occupational therapy, which, in addition to teaching, propose actions to transform educational, social, cultural and health conditions. However, we noticed that there are gaps in the literature in the area that explain how the concepts are linked to this training, producing specific reflections on the profession in different sub-areas.

Gender expressions in the care and COVID-19 prevention process during the pandemic: reflections from and to social occupational therapy

This article discusses the expressions of gender in the care and prevention process of COVID-19 and seeks to explain the manifestations of sexism in issues related to the changes in daily life caused by the pandemic, in addition to reflecting on the possibilities of actions of occupational therapy in this context. The investigation presented in this article unfolded from a broader project, entitled: “Inequalities and vulnerabilities in the COVID-19 epidemic: monitoring, analysis, and recommendations”, carried out between May and November 2020, whose general objective was to assess the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in more vulnerable neighborhoods of the municipalities where the study was carried out. The methodology was based on the use of material produced in the field research process; this is a qualitative study that focused on the information obtained through conversation circles, interviews, application of questionnaires, the production of reports and field diaries, and the articulation of this material with theoretical references that favor social occupational therapy and gender studies. Among the results, it’s possible to highlight the different ways in which men and women comprehended the period and established their ways of life in the pandemic, in addition to the different attitudes and behaviors towards the care necessary to prevent COVID-19. The critique of hegemonic masculinity allows for an accumulation of knowledge that favors the development of interventional processes, such as the carrying out of activity workshops and conversation circles that aim to soften the reflexes of this thought on society.

Essa pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo a Educação Permanente em Saúde como estratégia de promoção da saúde mental para docentes de magistério superior em uma Universidade Federal no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Tem como objetivo geral utilizar a Educação Permanente com professores de magistério superior na elaboração de processos e produtos de ensino como estratégia facilitadora para a promoção da saúde mental. Tratar-se-á de um estudo com método descritivo e exploratório, de abordagem quanti-qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa convergente assistencial, com aplicação de questionário semiestruturado e realização de oficinas com Metodologia de Problematização pelo Arco de Maguerez com os docentes da Escola de Enfermagem de uma Universidade Federal. Pretende-se discutir os dados obtidos à luz da Política Nacional de Educação Permanente e a partir dos referenciais teóricos de Paulo Freire, Política Nacional de Promoção da Saúde e da Saúde Mental Positiva. Espera-se que este estudo contribua para construir ferramentas que possibilitem promover saúde mental, bem como nas discussões com os profissionais sobre os possíveis impactos que o trabalho pode gerar na saúde mental, tornando-os mais conscientes da necessidade do autocuidado na melhoria da qualidade de vida.
