Abstract: Angle Class II malocclusion is defined according to the anteroposterior molar relationship with or without a discrepancy between basal bones. Maxillary protrusion and mandibular retrusion are included in this pattern. When orthodontic treatment starts at an early age, it is possible to affect growth of both basal bones and the dentoalveolar region, which helps to correct tooth positioning in the corrective phase.
