A relação entre o crescimento mandibular e a maturação esquelética em jovens brasileiras melanodermas

Abstract: OBJETIVO: avaliar o grau de correlação existente entre o crescimento mandibular e a maturação esquelética em jovens brasileiras melanodermas. MÉTODOS: examinou-se 140 telerradiografias, obtidas em norma lateral e 140 radiografias de mão e punho de jovens do gênero feminino, brasileiras, melanodermas, com 8 a 14 anos de idade, com oclusão normal ou má oclusão de Classe I, de Angle, não submetidas a tratamento ortodôntico prévio.
