Metazoan parasites of Hoplias aff. malabaricus, Trachelyopterus galeatus and Schizodon borellii (Osteichthyes) from the Protected Area and its main tributary, Brazil

Abstract: A study of the parasite-host interactions was conducted in the protected area popularly known as the “Refúgio Biológico de Santa Helena” and its tributary, the São Francisco Falso River. For each of the three host species, Schizodon borellii, Hoplias aff. malabaricus, and Trachelyopterus galeatus, 30 fish were collected from 2018 to 2019.
