Occurrence of Apicomplexa protozoa in wild birds in the Northeast region of Brazil

Abstract: Protozoa of the Apicomplexa phylum are worldwide distributed with capacity to infect endothermic animals. The study of these protozoa in wild birds in Brazil is scarce.
