Abstract: O artigo reflete sobre diversas ações que se desenvolveram na América Latina com o intuito de garantir a igualdade entre homens e mulheres a partir de diferentes estratégias e ações afirmativas aplicadas em diversos campos (relações trabalhistas, conciliação trabalho-família, seguridade social).
