Usual interstitial pneumonia: typical, possible, and “inconsistent” patterns

Abstract: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is a severe and progressive chronic fibrosing interstitial lung disease, a definitive diagnosis being established by specific combinations of clinical, radiological, and pathological findings.
