Abstract: Mucormycosis is a rare life-threatening opportunistic infection, with rhinocerebral mucormycosis (ROCM) being the most common presentation. Trichosporon asahii is an emerging pathogen that often causes fatal infections in patients with underlying hematologic malignancies due to its high drug resistance.
