Abstract

Background: International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP) in 2005 attempted to achieve a consensus in the application of Gleason grading system in contemporary practice. We investigated how the ISUP consensus impacted the Gleason grading in a center with a large urological pathology practice. Design: We compared the Gleason score (GS) distribution and the GS concordance on biopsy and radical prostatectomy (RP) in two patient cohorts (before and after the ISUP consensus) in our institution. Both cohorts had
