Re: Long-term results of permanent memotherm urethral stent in the treatment of recurrent bulbar urethral strictures

Abstract: We congratulate the authors for the wonderful results with permanent urethral stent placement in bulbous urethral strictures. The authors describe long-term results that are fairly good. Conventionally, urethral stents are placed in old patients who cannot undergo urethroplasty. However, the authors have placed these stents in relatively young men (mean age 48 years (range, 23 to 76). These men are sexually active. However, the authors have not given comments on this issue.
