Abstract:IntroduçãoA arterite de Takayasu (AT) é uma doença vascular inflamatória crônica de etiologia desconhecida que se caracteriza por provocar lesões definitivas nos grandes vasos, ramos diretos da aorta, principalmente os supra-aórticos, podendo acometer inclusive a artéria pulmonar.
