Show more

“…For KIR genotyping, the polymerase chain reaction was used with the sequence‐specific primer (PCR‐SSP) technique, according to Rudnick et al for the following fourteen genes and one pseudogene: KIR2DL1, KIR2DL2, KIR2DL3, KIR2DL4, KIR2DL5, KIR2DS1, KIR2DS2, KIR2DS3, KIR2DS4, KIR2DS5, KIR3DL1, KIR3DL2, KIR3DL3, KIR3DS1 and KIR2DP1 . The amplified DNA fragments were separated by electrophoresis on 2.0% agarose gels and visualised by staining with Sybr Green (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA).…”

“…The deleted and non-deleted major full-length subtypes and deleted forms of KIR2DS4 were analyzed by PCR-SSO. Samples with ill-defined results were confirmed by an in-house polymerase chain reaction with sequence-specific primers (PCR-SSP) according to Martin et al, 4 and optimized by Rudnick et al 21 …”
