Abstract:O Nitreto Cúbico de Boro (cBN) é uma forma alotrópica sintética do nitreto de boro que é obtida sob condições de altas pressões e altas temperaturas (HPHT), geralmente a partir do nitreto hexagonal de boro (hBN). Compactos sinterizados de cBN são produzidos sinterizando cBN e ligantes na faixa de 6,0-8,0GPa e cerca de l600-2000°C em tempos que variam até 30 minutos.
