Objective: Sports injury can occur due to several factors, which makes it extremely difficult to conduct cause and effect studies by controlling and evaluating a specific variable. Common reason for the appearance of injuries is poor physical preparation for the proposed training load, a factor that is more present in high intensity sports. CrossFit has been gaining a great deal of attention in recent years due to its dynamic mix of varied sports. Beginner and intermediary level participants are very common in CrossFit gyms, so the understanding the training effect for this group is very important for healthy practice (aiming for safety and injury rate). Methods: Only original articles were included, between 2000 and 2019 (November), with the search for the word "CrossFit" in nine databases. It was accepted only studies in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Results: After screening, only three studies met the inclusion criteria following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses assessment. The most common injury segments in beginner and intermediate practitioners were the shoulder and the knee. There are functional and morphological mechanisms that makes injury become more common, such as life habits and anatomic / physiological body disposition. Conclusion: CrossFit beginners and intermediaries participants demonstrated moderate injury level. Studies with more subjects showed a lower injury level. The most injured segments found were knee and shoulder. According to our results the risk of injury in CrossFit beginner and intermediary participants is acceptable, and discussed in recent published reviews.

Resumo O presente artigo tem como objetivo revisar de forma sistematizada a literatura relativa a estudos que utilizaram o método dos escores proposto por Fornés e colaboradores, em 2002, para avaliar o consumo alimentar e discutir o método na perspectiva de avaliação do padrão alimentar. Foi realizada busca de artigos nas bases de dados Medline, Lilacs e Scielo. Limitou-se a busca aos idiomas inglês, português e espanhol e aos artigos publicados de 2002 até 2016. Os critérios de inclusão foram: estudos que utilizaram o método dos escores proposto por Fornés et al. para avaliar o consumo alimentar. Foram encontrados 8.300 artigos na busca inicial. Após leitura de títulos, resumos e aplicação de critérios de exclusão, 14 artigos foram selecionados. Os artigos avaliaram o padrão alimentar adotando diferentes grupos e verificaram associações com variáveis antropométricas, socioeconômicas e bioquímicas. Concluiu-se que o método dos escores constitui uma ferramenta capaz de avaliar os padrões alimentares e que permite verificar associações entre variáveis antropométricas, bioquímicas, socioeconômicas e clínica com os componentes da dieta/grupo alimentar investigado aos quais o indivíduo foi exposto.

Resumo Objetivo Investigar, na literatura nacional e internacional, os aplicativos móveis existentes desenvolvidos para gerenciamento da doença falciforme. Métodos Estudo de revisão integrativa, conduzido nas bases de dados Medline/via PubMed, BVS, Current Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (Cinahl), Web of Science e Scopus, no período de setembro de 2016 a março de 2018. Os artigos selecionados foram analisados de acordo com a Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHQR). Resultados Integraram esta revisão 12 artigos, sendo dois da Web of Science e o restante da PubMed. Conclusão Esta revisão mostrou a incipiência de estudos que contemplam o desenvolvimento de aplicativos móveis no contexto da doença falciforme. No Brasil não foram identificados estudos que utilizem aplicativos móveis direcionados à população com doença falciforme, apesar da alta incidência desta condição crônica. Este estudo aponta para a necessidade de desenvolvimento de aplicativos móveis como importante recurso educativo que possa apoiar a prática de autocuidado das pessoas com doença falciforme.
