Abstract

ABO gene (n=39). Conclusion: this is the first large molecular study on samples typed as A 3 and A 3 B. New ABO alleles were detected. Mutations between 441 to 450 nucleotides of exon 7 of ABO gene which seem to be critical for transferase A expression are frequent in A 3 and A 3 B samples.
