Prevalence of breast cancer in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, between 1988 and 2002

Abstract: CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE: Studies have shown increased prevalence rates for breast cancer, relating to higher incidence, longer survival and breast cancer prevention programs among populations. The aim here was to analyze the annual prevalence of breast cancer in Goiânia over a 15-year period.
