Avaliação da expansão rápida da maxila por meio da tomografia computadorizada: relato de um caso

Abstract: Este trabalho descreve os efeitos dentoesqueléticos e periodontais da expansão rápida da maxila (ERM), avaliados por meio da tomografia computadorizada (TC), em uma jovem de 11,6 anos de idade com má oclusão de Classe I e mordida cruzada posterior unilateral funcional. Durante a fase ativa da ERM, o expansor dentossuportado com parafuso Hyrax foi ativado 7mm.
